Bachinovo is the largest park next to Blagoevgrad and a favorite place to relax, especially in summer. Directly from the center, go against the current of the river on the west side and the Health Alley will take you to Bachinovo Park. In the center of the park there is a lake with ducks and swans, in summer you can ride a water bike. Several barbecue areas have been built along the river.

On the other side of the river there is a rope park, a restaurant, a stand for freshly squeezed juices and two bouncy castles for children.

At the bottom of the lake is the fine restaurant Royal Park, next to it there is a children's playground and a fountain with cold Rila water (often with a queue of people who came specifically to pour bottles of water). A little further down you will come to a small bike park for children. 

If you go up along the lake, you will pass a fitness area, several grill tables and reach the next emblematic restaurant - Vodenitsa, with traditional cuisine and a large garden. Next to it there is a children's playground, and behind it a small area with animals - here you can see goats, ponies, chickens and ducks.

There is no working public toilet in the park, there is a water fountain next to the parking lot at the Royal Park restaurant.

Loven Dom Park stretches along the eastern slopes of Blagoevgrad, above the old town of Varosha. Pleasant alleys in the pine forest lead to the Hunting Lodge, which gave the park its name. The building is currently not in use, but in front of it there are two nice playgrounds for children and beautiful views of the city.

A walk here is especially pleasant on hot summer days, when the fresh air from the mountains and the shadows of the pines bring coolness.

There are no working toilets in the park, no water fountain. The nearest establishment is a small cafe at the beginning of the alley near the Regional History Museum.

Arena Park is a small green space on the right bank of the Bistrica River. The alley is pleasant for a walk, it is about 700 meters long and is illuminated in the evening. Besides several playgrounds, there are two restaurants - one in the central part and one in the lower part of the park (Arena Park restaurant) and a skate park.

The building of the city park began in 1924, when the city government expropriated several properties to endow the citizens with a park. Like the Garden of Eden, here in the beginning there was a garden with fruit trees. While they were walking, the residents could pick an apple, pear or cherry. After ten years, the fruit trees were removed, and acacias were planted in their place.
